Geoffrey A. Frazier

As Chairman and CEO, Mr. Frazier heads the team of financial services professionals at Global Financial Advisory, Inc. He founded many financial companies including Global Financial Advisory, Inc. and Elder Care Financial Services, Inc. Mr. Frazier signed and implemented numerous financial planning systems that serve as the foundation for various financial planning firms. Mr. Frazier is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner and Chartered Life Underwriter professional.  In 1989, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Actuarial Science from the University of Florida. He began his career in 1989 with a major investment firm, but soon realized the many limitations of being a single line representative. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP),and National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU).

Throughout his career, Mr. Frazier has received high recognition. Every year since 1995, Mr. Frazier has achieved the honor of "Top of the Table" by the prestigious Million-Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and in 2002 received a lifetime membership into this esteemed organization. In 1997, he was a Cambridge Registry Inductee into the Who's Who of Financial Planning, which is registered in the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.  Mr. Frazier has also been recognized by the Financial Planning Association through an article in "The Journal of Financial Planning" highlighting his top business practices.

Michael J. Dixon

As Member and CEO, Mr. Dixon is responsible for all operations and strategic direction at GFA Wealth Design.

Prior to joining GFA Wealth Design, Mr. Dixon held a similar position within the software development industry and has extensive experience in establishing and growing a client-focused operation.

After leaving school at 15 years of age to take up an Engineering apprenticeship, Mr. Dixon successfully completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, graduating with Honors from The University of Bradford, England.

In 1990, he formed his own start-up company at his kitchen table and grew it to over 200 employees by 1997. After an acquisition by VEGA Group plc, a stock market listed company with offices world-wide, Mr. Dixon ran the company for a period of two years.

In 1999, Mr. Dixon sold his interests in VEGA and became a full-time resident of the United States with his wife, Claire, and two young daughters.

Christopher B. Sleight
Managing Director

As Managing Director, Mr. Sleight focuses on client relationships during the primary stage of Estate Planning for GFA Wealth Design, Global Financial Private Capital and Global Financial Advisory. For years, Mr. Sleight has worked with clients specializing in preservation of principal and managing the most important time of their lives. He recognizes that people are searching for a reconnection in their financial relationships and offers a vehicle to forming that personal rapport with the company's professional staff.

He is also Managing Director for Global Financial Advisory. Prior to joining Global's team, Mr. Sleight was a compliance officer for Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation. He made the transition into the financial planning industry to serve a community in need of a professional understanding their legacy of wealth. Mr. Sleight is dually licensed in the States of Florida and Arizona in risk management solutions. He graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where he majored in business, with a minor in communications.

In 1987, Mr. Sleight relocated from Dayton, Ohio, to Sarasota Florida with his wife and their two daughters. They are involved in many charities throughout Sarasota and Venice. Mr. Sleight is a member of Incarnation Christian Church, and he enjoys playing tennis and coaching their daughter's soccer team.

Keldie Torrington
Director of Producer Relations

As Director of Producer Relations, Ms. Torrington has overseen Global Financial Marketing Group since February of 2000.  She is responsible for life insurance case development for the firm's representatives and clients.  Ms. Torrington focuses her talent on advancing the marketing division of the company.  

Ms. Torrington's success emanates from her amiable service skills and strong ambition.  She continues to expand her abilities by developing her financial education to compliment growing needs of the business.

A resident of Florida since 1989, Ms. Torrington finds harmony by spending time with her close family, friends and animals.  A perfect day would include relaxing at home with a good book followed by a sushi dinner at her favorite restaurant.

Michael E. DeMassa

Michael DeMassa is a Portfolio Manager at Global Financial Private Capital. He joined Global after relocating from a major brokerage firm where he managed investment portfolios. Mr. DeMassa takes great pride in sharing his vast knowledge of investments with clients. As such, he is dedicated to keeping himself well-educated to best serve the interests of our clients in the ever-changing financial markets. His area of expertise is in portfolio analysis, which includes reduction of fees, proper asset allocation and tax efficiency. In addition, he assists clients in setting up estate plans to achieve their objectives and ensures the proper execution of the documents.

Mr. DeMassa is a CFA Charter holder, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity licensee. He is also a Series 7 and Series 63 licensed representative.

A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr. DeMassa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997. He continues to serve as an Educational Counselor for the MIT Education Council in the Greater Sarasota Area. He is an active member in the CFA Tampa Bay Society and the Financial Planning Association.

Cynthia L. Shuford
Executive Services Specialist

Ms. Shuford has worked in the financial services sector for over 24 years, with experience as a Financial Consultant and Account Executive for financial services firms including A.G. Edwards & Sons, Merrill Lynch, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

At Global Financial Advisory, she is responsible for client relations, new business processing, and data gathering for the Financial Planning Department.

She studied accounting and finance at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her hometown is Tampa, Florida and currently lives in Sarasota.

Kathryn D. Payne
Client Liaison

As Client Liaison of Global Financial Advisory and GF Investment Services, Kathryn is responsible for client relations, new business processing, and advisor support.

Prior to joining Global’s team, Kathryn served as an administrative assistant for seven years at Metropolitan Title, a company located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. There she managed the day-to-day operations, administrative support and assisted in the company’s title customization focus. Kathryn has worked in the client and customer service industry for 20+ years.

Kathryn attended Monroe County Community College in Monroe, Michigan, where she earned an Associates of Commerce.

She recently relocated from Michigan to Florida to be closer to her parents and extended family, although she has one daughter and granddaughter residing in Michigan. She enjoys donating her time as an election official and has a passion for the organization - Habitat for Humanity. In her spare time, Kathryn takes ballroom dancing lessons is a voracious reader of both fiction and non-fiction.

Jocelyn A. Olson
Advisor Relations Specialist

As Advisor Relations Specialist of Global Financial Advisory and GF Investment Services, Jocelyn is responsible for client relations, new business processing, advisor support, and data gathering for two divisions of the company located in Florida and Arizona.

Prior to joining Global’s team, Jocelyn served as an executive administrative assistant for First Security Investments, Inc., located in Sarasota, Florida, from 1997 until 2003. There she managed business tracking, compliance data, client relations, marketing, and company communications.

Jocelyn attended business administration classes in Florida, and she is currently pursuing her Florida Life/Health and Variable Annuity Insurance license.

Jocelyn enjoys volunteering for animal charities and rescue networks, and spends most of her time outside of work with family.

Karen T. Arlington
Producers Marketing Administrator

With 19 years banking experience, Mrs. Arlington joined Global Financial Marketing Group as Producers Marketing Administrator.  Prior to joining Global's team, Mrs. Arlington served in several departments for Bank of America and later served as an office administrator for Edward Jones.

In her position at Global Financial Marketing Group, Mrs. Arlington is responsible for advisor support, business processing, and communications.

Mrs. Arlington is a member of the Business Professional Women's Club, North Port Alliance, and the North Port Chamber of Commerce.  She also serves on the Events Committee for the Boys and Girls Club and served on the NPPA Advisory Board for its existence.  Mrs. Arlington is an instructor for her church's Sunday School program.

When Mrs. Arlington is not occupied by her involvement in North Port's regional committees, she supports the arts by participating in the Joint Management Board for the Performing Arts Center and by managing the volunteers of the Society for the North Port Performing Arts Center.

She resides with her husband in North Port, Florida, and they have five children and five grandchildren.  Mrs. Arlington is currently pursuing her Insurance License.

Dianne Corso
Client Services Administrator

As Client Services Administrator, Ms. Corso is responsible for all incoming office communications, seminar reservations and welcoming all clients and visitors to Global Financial Advisory.  Prior to joining Global's team, Ms. Corso was involved in the Real Estate industry between Florida, California and Scottsdale, Arizona, where she served in the administrative sector for Russ Lyon Realty, specializing in very prominent, upscale desert mountain residences and retreats.

Originally, Ms. Corso began her career as a professional model in New York City and enjoyed her exposure to the fashion industry – her eternal passion, but decided to make a career change following the addition of her two sons.  Ms. Corso has always focused on clients' needs in her professional career.  She experiences extreme gratification when able to provide clients with a warm, friendly, relaxed, yet professional welcome upon entering Global's office.  Her goal is to create an environment where clients feel as though they are visiting with a friend.

Ms. Corso recently relocated back to Florida, a state she has considered her home since 1972.  Her future plans are to spend as much time with family, as the years spent living on the West Coast motivated her return to Sarasota to be closer to them.

Stephen Fedak, CFP®
Sr. Financial Planner & Registered Principal

Mr. Fedak is one of the Certified Financial PlannersTM on the Global Financial AdvisoryFinancial Planning team. As Registered Principal, he is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Financial Planning department. In his role as Senior Financial Planner, he specializes in the design and implementation of customized financial planning strategies. He joined Global Financial Advisory in July of 2005.

Mr. Fedak's career in the financial services began in 1990 as a registered representative for First Investor's Corporation, in Tampa, Florida. In 1994, he accepted a position with T. Rowe Price Associates where he was a retirement plan and variable annuity specialist. In 2000, he was promoted to the position of Assistant Vice-President of T. Rowe Price Advisory Services, Inc., and he acted as lead Certified Financial Planner™ for the T. Rowe Price Retirement Income Manager™ advisory service.

Mr. Fedak attended Penn State University, Richard Stockton Sate College and the Florida Institute of Technology. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, in 1989, and a Certificate in Financial Planning, 1998.

Born and raised in Atlantic City, N.J., Mr. Fedak relocated to Florida in the fall of 1990 where he spends time walking his Golden Retrievers on the beach and gardening at his South Tampa home. He is also an active member of the Gandy Civic Association, where he serves on the Board of Directors.

Robert Adams
Financial Planning Associate and Registered Representative

Mr. Adams has been part of the GFA Wealth Design and Global Financial Investment Services planning team since October of 2005. In his role as Financial Planning Associate, Mr. Adams is responsible for the evaluation of current portfolio positions for clients and prospects, as well as the design of recommended financial planning strategies. Additionally, Mr. Adams is responsible for researching non-proprietary investment management strategies, which have the potential to add further value to client’s portfolios.

In 1993, Mr. Adams received a B.A. in Business Administration, with a concentration in management, from Montclair State University in New Jersey. Mr. Adams started his career in the financial services industry as a Registered Representative with Investor’s Associates, out of Hackensack, New Jersey, in 1994. From there he worked as a financial advisor with Olde Discount Stockbrokers in Summit, New Jersey. In 1998, Mr. Adams began working at Prudential Financial, in Newark, New Jersey, where he supported Prudential’s Mutual Fund and Annuity business in several capacities, including education & training, product management and external sales.

Born and raised in Morris County, New Jersey, Mr. Adams relocated to Florida in 2003 when he was promoted to external wholesaler for Prudential Mutual Funds and was asked to manage a Southeastern U.S. territory. Currently, Mr. Adams enjoys frequent kayak fishing excursions in the bays and backcountry of Sarasota County.
